Graduated from Tullahoma High School because of strife at home.

Raised on working the land, farming, and heart of the home skills such as, but not limited to:  cooking, cleaning, animals, and basic skills to build or repair.

Enjoyed participating in 4-H (Lost a writing contest at state by a mere two word overage--- I wasn't even aware there was a word limit.),  the marching band (alto saxophone), piano, baton, science club, basketball, softball, the school newspaper, the Raider Rappin', Girl Scouts, and was up for state typing competition.

I was Queen of the Mountain Valley Baseball League in my freshman year of high school.

Brought up in the Church of Christ at Liberty Hill in Hurdlow, Tennessee

Baptized at the age of 16

Dreamed of finding Prince Charming , marrying, having children, and living happily ever after

Michael Tipps and I had four beautiful, perfect blessings: Maria Nicole, Casey Michael, Caleb Travis, & Clinton Brody

Nicole and Charles , have four just as gorgeous children:  Jonathan, Kimberly, Seth, & Ryan aging from seven to sixteen.

Travis is pursuing his current career after graduating college with honors and after serving in the Marine Corps at home and abroad.  He married the delightful and beautiful, Miki, originaly from Japan.

Casey is a truck driver.  He has children from a former marriage Melanie (Lanie) and Hope, & from two former relationships, Jada and Faith.

Brody graduated boot camp on Parris Island, South Carolina and served in Iraq and Afghanistan in the Marine Corps while stationed in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.  He is currently home with employment and pursuing a college education.

Mike & I divorced.  I was awarded full custody.  Extenuating circumstances beyond my control caused default. and created traumatic implosions.

Married Robert Day, Sr. on a beautiful moonlight night on the bluffs high above the Mississippi River.  Little did I know.

Bought 20 acres in Giles County and was in the process of building our dream home I had the privelege of designing.  Reside in a log cabin.

Drove over the road as a team driver with my husband for twenty years alongside a crew of my beloved Chihuahuas; a dream job with very adequate pay and perks.  I am now semi-retired since I had to have my spleen removed due to annurysim.  I am home on the farm writing and maintaining the land best I can.  Was diagnosed with scleroderma and dermatomyositis.  Waiting on my hearing for disability and fighting every stage of this horrible autoimmune disease that is life threatening.

Enjoy witnessing for Jesus, serving God, family, friends, all of my jobs, traveling, writing. gardening, cooking, sewing, arts, crafts, fishing, camping, hiking, walking, exercising, surfing the Net, hot air ballooning, ........a little bit of everything, actually.  I love anything to do with country life and living, though I do favor the Victorian lifestyle way back when.  I am flexible and energetic; willing to try new things.

Currently dealing with aging gracefully, though balking. :-)  (UPDATE - Jan 2016 - Now battling breast cancer.  I was diagnosed shortly after being awarded full disability last fall.)

Husband shot and killed himself in break room at his employer in 2013.

Founded EagleCrest Literary Agency to develop a network for Christians to fellowship, learn together, write, and publish.  Not to mention, have fun!
