A little bluebird asked me to tell you

How much you mean to a certain friend

Since you gladly pitch in with all you do

She gave me a beautiful song to send

Twas’ a cheerful melody I surely knew

She crooned “You Are My Sunshine” sprightly and clear

I hope you know that this is so true

You are loved so; a God send, precious and dear..
