                           Color Me Fall

Some can hardly wait to pile, then burn the beauty

That floats to their yard from looming trees yielding

Leaves of many patterns and jazzed hues, smelling fruity

Lures kids rolling thru' rustling piles, joy so wielding.

I'll take fall over any season; so go ahead, color me fall

Spring beauty so slow and dreamy, but fall paints so fast

Masterpieces of glory reaching the sky, oh, beauty so tall

Splashes of gold, red, and amber on branches lingering to be last__

Blessings reflected with each leaf riding the breezy wave

Times with family, bon fires of spirit, and campfire all a blaze__

Color me fall, and forget Ol’ Man Winter, wish him to a cave

Let the beauty tell your heart of God's unique, artistic ways.
